Saving Face

Quite a nice first feature film, directed by a openly lesbian Chinese American, Alice Wu. Story covers a relationship between a chinese lesbian surgeon, Wil, who can't speak proper mandarin fell in love with a pretty cute dancer, Vivian. Joan Chen who plays Wil's mom was gorgeous. Being pregnant without husband and having a lesbian daughther results her being chased out by her traditional stereotype thinking parents.

Well, every film have it's flaw. Just felt like the relationship between Wil and Vivian should be more in depth. Theres too few scenes describe how they get into the couplehood. Anyway, scenes where they having sex in Vivian apartment were great!

Wish I could see a really nice looking lesbian couple here in Malaysia. But it always turn out to be nightmare..... Ask Ivan....
