N年前,曾经有人用很怀疑的眼光凝视着我问道:“Are you a professional photographer?”

Pride

The Host
Ah Yoon and Rickman, consider as the earliest host that I approach when I first entered TV station. Hosting a show is not an easy task especially working in 8tv. When it comes developing their own character, I can only see a few who can do that in this industry. Through a conversation with one of my colleague, I found out some of the people just don't appreciate what host really does for a living. Besides dealing with camera interaction, patient, creative thinking, scripting and maybe a little producing work and not too much of acting skills. Personal growth is much more important than anything else. This is not merely something that you can check off your to-do list in production.
Being a host is not being how good you look on camera or how good you pretend you could speak or deliver good speech like president. It's about how good and how sensitive you experience every single little thing that you live through your entire life. It's about how good you be yourself when cameraman press the record button and start to interpret it on screen when the red beam start to blink.
For now, I still think both of the hosts I mentioned above are the host that never blanket themselves for what they never really are.

Most kick ass worker of the year!
Today I just heard that everyone have to come in office sharp at 9am beginning tomorrow. I don't know why HR department is so particular about this "you have to come in office on 9 am, not a minute after" rule. Maybe we don't have good discipline and good time management. I can tell that they really wanted to set things right. Fair enough. Well, I made a plan for myself as well. To make this plan works, I need a pillow, basketball, a hat, a tin and of course my jacket.
I made a mannequin disguise as myself with pillow, tin as my neck, basketball as my head and most of all, a hat that will cover up my not so original face.
This will disguise as Bak! The most kick ass worker of the year!
Just hope that nobody will blow my cover at the end of the day so the original me do not need to come in office early in the morning.
HR, such a pain in the ass. We already have a lot of issues regrading legal contract workers.
Updated: The next morning, Ah Lee was the one who found "me" sleeping on the table. Moving "me" to Ah Ni's work station, she tried to woke "me" up tapping the table. I almost laugh until my ass off when Naima told me the what happened when I'm not around. Well, we should do it together some other time.
8tv. We are different, yet traditional. Crying out loud, we are not working in a bank and we certainly do not need a 9 to 5 job especially working in a production.

Did another shooting for Christina and Kelvin's wedding, still haven't get used to my new speedlite. 50mm prime lens still my favorite lens to cover lots of moment of poetry. Although some of the picture might appear under expose for what I must control to maintain the sharpness of the picture rather than slowing down the shutter speed to get the exposure right but lost the sharpness of image. Overall the wedding event was pretty much simple yet effective. The only problem was shooting on a boat is not an easy task since I can only maneuver in a limited space.
Well, I guess this is a very rare wedding occasion. Congratulations! Go make babies!
